Whisper my everything

Sometimes people unwittingly offer you advice, and change your life.

Whisper my everything

A boy on the train
Lent over to me,
He told me the truth.
I had a story to tell.

Fogged by conscious
Strain of judgement weighing.
He told me how to wrestle.

As the black dog came.
Went.
Came, and tarnished days and nights.
I remembered for some time
Of some use.

Looking back
Still still, waiting,
For release
From burden past.

Head on I walk, and
As traffic parts,
Fear delights.
Every step earned,
Desired and stormed
With glory.
Not known to the man
Who the boy told the truth to.
